Assam State Biodiversity Board Recruitment- Fellow For Biodiversity Research Associate Programme -24 Posts

The Assam State Biodiversity Board invites applications from interested post-graduate students in Life Sciences (preferably fresh pass out) for short term engagement under a 9th batch of ‘Biodiversity Research Associate Programme (BRAP) Fellowship.

Recruitments For:

1. Assisting selected Biodiversity Management Committees (BMC) of Assam in preparation of their People’s Biodiversity Registers (PBR).

Vacancy: 20 Fellows

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences, preferably Botany and Zoology specialization.

Engagement Duration: 3 months (Anytime within 15th March 19 to 15th September 19)

Fellowship: Stipend of Rs 8000 per month + Rs 21,000/- contingency for 3 months towards field visits, documentation etc)

2. Updating Digital People’s Biodiversity Registers of Assam.

Vacancy: 4 Fellows

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany (preferably with Taxonomy specialization)

Engagement Duration: 3 months (tentatively within 15th March 19 to 14th June 19)

Fellowship: Rs 15000 per month (Fixed)


Minimum age is 20 years, but not above 30 years.

Selection Procedure: 

The application shall be examined by the Board and shortlisted candidates may be called for personal interaction and aptitude assessment.
